Finishing touches
I did it. I finally sent my ucas application. My friend bugged me for two weeks until I finished it and I couldn't be more grateful. My friend, Kati, has already sent hers and gotten three offers back to study sociology and gender studies at various universities, and there was me, just thinking about finishing it. But then, the moment I clicked send, I wanted the form back because I was convinced I hadn't done something right. I panicked. So, after all this, I couldn't believe it when my teacher sent it back to me because of a spelling mistake.
For some reason, I suddenly feel really old, maybe because its all so final - people are actually looking at what I wrote about how amazing I am and judging me for it. There's a real chance that I could be moving out in September. It feels really weird. I don't want to grow up.
